Empiric is to Host the comic on
When “LA Tinta” gets to take the chance for a win this week the final question by Bard gives a little more to the day. The starting point to the question was where comic strip art starts. To begin the answer at… The integration of art design into comic strips began to take shape in the late 19th century. In 1892 Walter Hugh McDougall on February 10, 1858, in Newark, New Jersey, was an American cartoonist known for his contributions to early full-color newspaper comic strips and political cartoons. He was one of the first to produce regular political cartoons in American daily newspapers, and his work was influential in the 1884 U.S. presidential election. McDougall also drew children’s comic strips, including “Queer Visitors from the Marvelous Land of Oz,” written by L. Frank Baum. He is often referred to as the first syndicated cartoonist due to his contributions to the weekly columns of humorist Bill Nye. McDougall’s career spanned from the 1870s, starting with The New York Graphic, and he worked for The New York World starting in 1884. He passed away on March 6, 1938, in Waterford, Connecticut, at the age of eighty.

Dusty: Stop right there Empiric.
Empiric: What is it, Dusty?
Dusty: An answer for the shifted Page here on Inked Path and not…
Bard: the old name needs not be said. But answer would be nice to have. Like the answer to the rabbit hole so far for this month by the way. Isn’t Bill Nye a science guy?
Empiric: The two parts of that answer. The site has grown in a new way by changing from a single comic post to a full page of comics that are thought to become a single long post to be more of a single book-like post for the read in one sitting. The second question is a bit more of a befuddlement and begins here.
Bessie: Why, is the answer, the easy answer?
Dusty: Good question to the answer.
Empiric: (clicking noise) Okay the comic site changed title but nothing else has changed for the site other than a name.
Bard: And the answer was easy. Thanks, and to the readers this far.
